ROUND 1 - Tricky Trail – Obstacle Navigation

Get ready to unleash your inner innovator in CHROMARUSH, where precision meets performance! Teams will design and deploy autonomous bots that track a black line and navigate complex paths with sharp turns, dead ends, and surprise patterns. In Round 1, prove your bot’s intelligence by accurately detecting the line and showcasing clean design and logic. Then, gear up for the main event, where your bot must tackle a tricky track — no lane changes, just pure focus, smart maneuvering, and speed. Only the fastest and smartest bots will conquer the course. Follow the line. Outsmart the twists. Beat the clock.

ROUND 2 - The Final Showdown

Top 2 participants with high points will come to the final round. Time will be given for recharging the batteries and tunning your bot . Bots will compete against each other in the same track. One who reaches the Final destination first will be crowned as champion.

BotDrive 2025 is a thrilling robotics competition where participants design and control car-like bots to tackle dynamic arena challenges. From precision payload delivery to strategic zone control, every round pushes creativity, teamwork, and engineering skill to the limit.

ROUND 1 - PAYLOAD PULL

Bots transport colored payloads to scoring zones, earning points based on color. Bonus points await teams that deliver all types within the 3-minute match. Random stop signals test reflexes and strategy.

ROUND 2 - ZONE CONTROL

"Rising Challenges, Sharper Skills!"

Bots battle for dominance in a tic-tac-toe style 3x3 grid arena. Holding zones secures points, while challengers can take over with clever timing. Matches run for 4 minutes of nonstop strategy and action.

F-Zero Protocol is an adrenaline-fueled robotics event where engineering skills, driving precision, and tactical planning collide. Teams will compete in two unique rounds — the chase-and-evade thrill of Pac Racers followed by the high-speed, obstacle-conquering Enduro Rush Challenge. Only the most adaptive, skilled, and precise teams will rise to the top.

ROUND 1 - Pac Racers

A chase-and-evade arena battle inspired by Pac-Man! One bot (Runner) evades while the other (Chaser) hunts in a maze filled with obstacles and safe zones. Points for survival time, tags, and precision decide who advances. Top 8 teams qualify for Round 2.

ROUND 2 - EnduroRush Challenge

"Endurance meets speed."

A solo time-trial race on a multi-terrain arena with ramps, gravel, and loose surfaces. Bots must complete the track with speed, control, and clean execution. Penalties apply for mistakes; consistency and precision decide the champions.

ROUND 1 - Concept Catalyst – Fueling Innovation

Participants choose a domain and submit a problem statement during registration. A committee will assign each team a final problem statement by shuffling the submitted ones. Teams receive their problem statement via email and must submit an abstract (max 500 words) and optionally, a 2-minute project video. Submit via email before the given deadline. The best abstracts will be shortlisted for the next round.

ROUND 2 - INNOVISION ARENA

"Build Fast, Adapt Faster — Embrace the Chaos."

In this high-stakes round, selected teams will present their innovative ideas to venture capitalists, competing for the funding and resources needed to bring their concepts to life as marketable products or solutions. Each teams must showcase and explain a fully functional working model (hardware or software). Each team should give a mandatory presentation(PPT), limited to 10 minutes. After each presentation, judges may ask questions to explore different facets of your idea. The judges will evaluate each team based on certain parameters and the judges' decisions are final and will not be open to further discussion.

TECH TRIALS is a fast-paced innovation challenge where ideas turn into code under pressure. Teams brainstorm impactful solutions, build working applications, and pitch to experts facing twists, constraints, and coding hurdles along the way. It’s where creativity meets code, and innovation meets execution.

ROUND 1 - IDEA ROULETTE

In the Idea Roulette challenge, teams draw random lots from Technology, Domain, and Constraint. In 30 minutes, they brainstorm solutions, refine one impactful problem-solution statement, and deliver a one-page brief (title, problem, beneficiaries, relevance). Teams may keep all lots for maximum points or swap one category for fewer points.

ROUND 2 - CODE CRUCIBLE + HINDRANCE CHALLENGE

"From Concept to Control — Build Solutions That Power Industry."

A 3.5-hour software-building marathon (10:30 AM to 2:00 PM) where ideas turn into working applications or MVPs. With APIs, frameworks, and coding tools at their disposal, participants must design and develop a functional software solution that demonstrates both creativity and feasibility. Every hour introduces a new hindrance challenge (unexpected constraints). Teams can dare to accept challenges for bonus points, boosting their leaderboard scores. Deliverables: A software application (MVP) and a pitch deck, with only the best advancing to Round 3.

ROUND 3 - LAUNCH PAD PITCH + LEADERBOARD FINALE

"Pitch perfect, Win the Launch!"

The grand finale brings the top teams to the spotlight as they pitch their software projects. Final scores combine leaderboard bonus points from Round 2 with judges' evaluations. A distinguished panel of industry experts, investors or faculty members will evaluate. Five teams will be shortlisted for the final round, where innovation meets real-world software impact.
